My main concern was bulk, but this sits neatly through the chest and shoulders while still leaving room for a sweatshirt. It feels warm without being excessively heavy, and the sleeves and hood stay comfortable. A very good balance between insulation and a clean everyday fit.
I am quite particular about jackets around the neck, but this one is very comfortable. The hood feels soft, the collar does not press against me, and the jacket does not bunch up badly when sitting. It feels warm enough for colder weather without becoming uncomfortable indoors or in the car.
I usually find puffers awkward in the car, but this one gives me enough room through the shoulders and elbows to drive comfortably. It does not ride up much when sitting, the black finish looks smart, and the zips and hood feel solid and practical.
I wanted warmth without having to wear a huge winter coat. This has been a great middle ground. The padding keeps me comfortable, the higher collar gives good coverage, and there is still room for a light knit underneath. It stays easy to move in and keeps a tidy shape outdoors.
I normally buy black or navy, so I was unsure about the red. In person it looks much more refined and not too loud. The fit is comfortable through the arms and shoulders, it feels warm without being rigid, and the hood and collar sit naturally whether I am driving or walking around town.
